Tierra del Fuego National Park is located 12km away from Ushuaia City. It is the only National Park in Argentina that protects mountains, sea and forest within its limits.
This tour starts driving West through N° 3 National Route by Pipo River Valley. At the foot of Mount Susana we will stop to visit the ‘Worlds End Train Station’. This was one of the working areas for the inmates of Ushuaia old Prison.
After a short visit to the facilities, if you want, you will be able to take the one hour train ride (not included). If you prefer not to do so, you will continue by bus with the guide, entering the National Park to reach the ‘Park Station’ where we will meet the rest of the group.
We will continue visiting Tierra del Fuego National Park making some stops on the way, like at Acigami Lake and Lapataia Bay (Place where the Panamerican Route ends), to appreciate the beautiful landscapes. In each place we will do short walks to see and get more information about the different species of the native forest and the fauna protected by the Southernmost National Park of Argentina.
